WP4.AZ3 - Optimization of animal culture conditions (welfare), and effects evaluation of the quality of the final product

The activity involves the testing and development of transferable technologies and knowledge, aimed at innovation, improvement of technological processes, techniques of breeding and aquaculture products. Experiments are carried out by relating the technology of farming with the fish wellbeing, using traditional indices of stress and evaluating the response of new indicators. The assessment of how the improvement of farming conditions affects the well-being of organisms, with effects on the quality and safety of the product, is also taken into account.
