WP4.AZ1 - Development of breeding techniques with low environmental impact

To verify the sustainability of aquaculture practices in systems intended for other purposes, such as offshore platforms, multipurpose areas, tests in confined coastal areas with sea-ranching techniques, in embedded systems with Integrated Multi-trophic Aquaculture (IMTA) practices are performed in the framework of this action. In particular, aquaculture activities focus on pelagic species rearing, in order to ward off the coast plants, reducing environmental impacts, and at the same time to overcome some farming limitations in the open sea.
