WP2.AZ3 - Integrated environmental characterization and remediation of contaminated coastal sites

The Action tends to study the methods for characterization of contaminated sites and the decontamination technologies. In particular, the contaminants (traditional and emerging) are studied, as well as their mechanisms of release and dissemination, of accumulation in sediments and bioaccumulation and biomagnification in marine organisms target.

Moreover, protocols are elaborated for environmental monitoring and chemical and ecological risk assessment.
