WP5.AZ2 - Reducing the environmental impact of fishing activity

This action, through a substantial change in the design of traditional fishing tool and the installation of new technologies on board, is trying to resolve the demands of the Italian merchant fleet. Some examples of intervention are: assessment of the impact of fishing activities through innovative methods, improvement of hydrodynamic performance and reduction of trawling impact on the sea bottom and test of different eco-friendly divergent with a low environmental impact and high- hydrodynamic performance.
