WP4.AZ4 - Trials aimed to the development of innovative and sustainable fish food

The purpose of the action is to apply technological innovations and knowledge toward the production of innovative and sustainable feed. It is expected the formulation of feed directly using waste from fishing and agricultural production, or algal biomass, in order to reduce the marine protein now used in traditional feed. A part of the trial is also dedicated to assess the possibility of obtaining bacterial and yeast biomass to be used in animal feed, through bioconversion of food industry residues.
