Using the results of previous actions integrated models are developed (including end-to-end models that include physical, biogeochemical and ecological aspects, and possibly including the socio-economic too).
Fishery system response in an ecosystem context is studied, analyzing the responses to various stressors and sustainability and rational exploitation of the resources potentially available. The evolution of the dynamics and the state of resources according to various fishing modes and environmental scenarios are designed and developed; potential management strategies are defined, with the involvement of stakeholders and the inclusion of bio-economic modeling; scenario analyses are performed, including the overlap between the possible effects of climate change with fishery or aquaculture and other anthropogenic pressures.
